Horses have always been part of my family’s life with my mum, dad, nanna and great-grandfather always being involved with them. I first started riding on my shetland pony at a young age and then progressed throughout the years with different horses doing pony club, showing, dressage and vaulting but ended up focusing on showing as this is where my passion is. 

At the age of 10, I competed at my first Royal Adelaide Show where I was fortunate enough to borrow the beautiful Wesswood Vixen to win my rider class and then go on to Reserve Champion Rider under 14 years and Champion Good Hands 12 years & under.  This really was the start of my success in the show ring and the beginning of my ambition to be competitive in the show world nationally.

I was awarded the 2012 ESA Young Show Rider of the Year which was a dream come true for me and then was awarded this again and won the Youth Development Scholarship for the Show Horse section for 2014.  I also won the SHC-SA Highpoint Junior Rider of the Year in 2013 and 2014.

My current team of show horses consists of my small show hunter galloway Corndale Kiss and Tell (Baci) and small hack/rider class horse Yorke (Richie). We have also recently had a Shetland pony “Royalview Louis” join our team.  My instructors are Chris Lawrie, Melissa Karutz and Margot Haynes, they have been an immense help on my journey to achieve my goals and dreams with my horses.  I am also very thankful to my parents as none of this would be possible without their support. 

I am fortunate to have a great team of sponsors and feel very honoured to be a part of the SRC Team and am very proud to represent them.  I look forward to what the next season holds with my beautiful and beloved horses and hope to make my sponsors proud.
